Client Overview

Climaloc is part of M-D Canada and the M-D Building Products group that serves diversified markets throughout North America including the design, manufacture, and marketing for a range of residential and commercial weatherization products through the Climaloc brand. The existing Climaloc website had not been updated in years and was starting to fail. Not only did the site need a complete overhaul, they also needed to launch a new screen wire mesh product category with hundreds of SKUs.

 
 

The old Climaloc website suffered from an outdated theme with unclear calls to action that did little to motivate or engage its audience. The site had not been updated in years and was experiencing functionality issues, creating a poor and confusing experience for users.

    provides Climaloc with greater control over updating their website in-house at any time they want.

  • Ensured site responsiveness across all devices and exceeded client’s needs with WCAG 2.0 Level A Compliance.

  • Established automated warranty and claim forms with built-in CRM integration to streamline customer support.

  • Developed automatic generation of products via a custom “one-click” workflow process that allows the addition of
    unlimited products and supporting material such as photos, product filters, and literature with a simple file upload.

  • Custom design of new personalized product discovery tool that creates an intuitive path to purchase for shoppers,
    makes Climaloc products more easily discoverable online, and simplifies the shopping journey.

  • Worked with client to create clear and concise call to action items to help increase conversions.

  • Optimized navigation so that users can access any page on the website easily and seamlessly.

 
 

Building out the new Climaloc website, our multi-disciplinary team focused on creating a truly scalable design. Going from wireframes to visual designs and prototypes, we produced numerous iterations as we constantly tested and refined our designs. Together with the creation of a custom automated import process for products, the website redesign will save Climaloc time and money and allow them to focus on what matters most.
